Wood and other garden materials do not belong in the yellow lidded recycle bin. They cause contamination and can mean that your recycling goes to waste.
Please place them in the green lidded food and garden organics (FOGO) bin instead. They will then be made into valuable compost.
Alternatively you may place small twigs, leaves, lawn clippings as well as fruit and vegetable scraps in your home compost bin.
